ONE - Stretchy pieces

No time like the present to flaunt your curves!! Together with an additional few inches around your baby bump, also expect to be a little more curvy up top so best time to bust out the stretchy bodycon dresses and embrace your new curves. We especially like layering a stretch dress / top with a chunky cardigan, loose tee (like our basic crop tees) or denim jacket.

TWO  - Maxi Dresses All Day

We obviously have our favorite maxi dresses (that’s why we made it in grey and navy to share with all of you) but a good maxi dress can take you all the way from start to end and beyond!! We love that you don’t have to fuss with uncomfortable waist lines and worrying about skirt hemlines riding too high and yet at the same time have an elongated silhouette all through our pregnancy. Choose fabrics that are comfortable and not too warm and layer up if temperatures dip!

THREE - Belly Band

Let you in on a secret! We’ve made it through an entire pregnancy without owning many maternity pieces. We wished it was easier to find affordable and stylish pieces but some days, you just want the comfort of your old clothes! And the magic trick is – Belly Band! Loads of brands out there but we loved BellaBand for their comfort and simple design. Basically what it is is an elastic tube strip (you can get creative and buy a basic one from Zara or H&M!) that goes over the offensive unbuttoned skirt or pants. And helps smooth the edges and hold up the pants! Ultra versatile and great for use post-natal too! We recommend stocking up on the usual colors so it blends in with your clothes rather than stand out!

FOUR - Comfy shoes

Needless to say, one of the most important bit of advice for pregnant ladies is a comfy pair of shoes! As your body is taking on extra weight, one might find it tempting to live in flip flops. But a lady firmly believes that flipflops only belongs to 1. The Pool and 2. Post-pedicure so invest in a few statement sandals or good walking shoes with support. It will also help to build in a few more steps into your routine cos a bit more exercise can’t hurt!

FIVE - Good Supportive Underwear

One of the true essentials that are unavoidable is a good supportive maternity bra! You can size up on your sports bra but we recommend investing in good maternity / nursing bra because you will be using it for months to come. Even after you deliver your baby. There are many brands you can choose from in the market and you might be pleasantly surprised by the designs out there!
